Community Case Study: Tŷ Gobaith
Children and families across North Wales and Cheshire are now able to receive the care they need and make lasting memories thanks to the brand-new extension at Tŷ Gobaith.

Project Overview
Client: Hope House Hospice, Ty Gobaith
Project Value: £620,000
Completion: 2025
On Tuesday May 6th 2025, the multi-use care and family suite was officially unveiled. The whole scheme was entirely grant funded.
Featuring a fully equipped care bedroom with beautiful views across the Conwy River, a family bedroom to allow parents and brothers and sisters to stay, a medical station and fully accessible bathroom.
Working alongside BEST Construction and TACP Architects, Construction Q provided full PMQS support on a pro bono basis.
Project Manager Polly Roberts said:
"We were extremely lucky to find Construction Q where a chance phone call led to Fiona navigating us through a much needed extension to our Children's Hospice in Conwy. Fiona gave her time and services for free which meant the money saved could be spent on the children and families we support. Fiona was fully engaged throughout the build with site visits and monthly valuations which resulted in money being saved at every stage. This is important for any organisation but you can imagine more so for a charitable organisation. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were provided with an extremely high-quality service.
We will be forever grateful to Construction Q who we have built a wonderful relationship with, and they continue to support us with all our current and future projects at both of our children's hospices."
