Commercial Case Study: Noshi
Works have recently been completed at Noshi, a new 120-cover modern pan-Asian restaurant and cocktail bar delivered by Daniel James Interiors in the heart of Nottingham.

Project Overview
Client: Noshi
Project Value: Undisclosed
Completion: 2025
Positioned as “a sensory journey shaped by flavour, detail, and atmosphere,” Noshi brings a contemporary, design-led dining experience to the city and stands as a notable addition to Nottingham’s expanding culinary landscape.
Daniel James Interiors led the interior transformation, working closely with Construction Q, who provided full commercial and cost-management support from pre-construction through to project completion. This included budget planning, procurement advice, valuation management, and financial reporting to ensure the scheme remained commercially robust while meeting the client’s design ambitions.
The project required a highly coordinated approach between design, construction, and specialist trades. With a tight delivery programme and significant bespoke elements—from custom joinery and feature lighting to textured wall finishes and carefully planned zoning—the team maintained close communication and agile problem-solving throughout. Despite the fast-track nature of the build, the project achieved a unique, high-quality finish that reflects the restaurant’s brand and experiential brief.
The successful completion of Noshi demonstrates the strength of collaboration between Daniel James Interiors, Construction Q, and the wider supply chain. It represents another standout scheme in the Daniel James portfolio and contributes a distinctive new venue for Nottingham’s hospitality sector.
